When things don't matter

February 18, 2026

In today's conundrum, I'd like to share why everything that has happened to date matters and why it also doesn't matter.

Ignorance is bliss. For anyone who chooses to ignore any signs and signals, life can continue as is. They might even read about it later on.

"Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think." Perhaps not so much a comedy in my opinion, but I see it like a detective novel, perhaps Scooby Doo, with a wicked sense of humour thrown in.

Here's my 2c. We've been given all the pieces, all of the clues, and whoever can figure it out can probably work out what's to come. The beauty of it is that it's scattered everywhere, even in popular culture. It shapes our thoughts, shifts the window of what we can accept, and opens our minds to new advancements.

Let me say this - many things that were impossible to swallow or accept by the majority of the population 10 years ago, are now slowly accepted as fact. Likewise, there are some hard to swallow pills right now which may or may not be accepted at the moment, but we may "see the light" in years to come.

But thanks to memes and movies, people might not reject things so immediately.

Will people realise they have changed? Probably not

Will people apologise for being wrong previously? Definitely not, or perhaps make up some lame excuse like "I didn't know" or "I was forced to think like that because everyone else did the same"

So I say to you.

The moment Thanos snaps his fingers.

The moment when you are asked if you have questioned the nature of your reality.

Even the moment when you wake up from your game, realising that you took the red pill earlier.

Maybe the signs were there all along, we chose to ignore it because we fear the unknown, instead preferring to stay comfortable.

Well if you are comfortable, at least be kind to others and be happy.
