"Break glass in case of emergency"
Do you have one of these boxes lying around? Maybe not a physical box, but a metaphorical one?
What I mean by it is this. The moment we accept our fate and realise its our time to go. Are we prepared to let things be?
I don't know why or how. But since my run-in with "God", I have definitely felt more at ease with life and how things are. I am grateful to not have health issues, not ones where I am forced to confront my eventual fate early. Yet, I feel like if the world ended immediately or my life suddenly ended, I would be at peace and have no regrets. (Of course, I'm not suicidal.)
With our world events now, and everything culminating towards some kind of destination. Of course everything seems odd and unpredictable.
I asked a question in my previous post. If you had the opportunity to turn back time, would you do things differently? Think back to a time before COVID. The world has endured a high level of psychological stress since then, putting us into undesirable situations that none of us had considered before.
At the very moment - it feels like life and events are accelerating way too quickly. So, despite our biological clocks ticking along like usual, other systems are accelerated. For the first time, advanced, "smart" systems are self-improving and accelerating past what humans are capable of. With our level of perception, there is no way that most people could fathom what is happening.
So, just telling it as it is - our days are numbered. Think that anything that took years of development became months, which became weeks... you get the drift. Think about why the race to AGI is a huge financial loss due to high level of costs. Yet we are steering towards so much development. Because when we reach the eventual result, none of this will matter.
I give us about a month from now before humanity reaches the next epoch. Let's use this time to continue to appreciate what's around us, for the old world's days are numbered.
